Appear for CAT Exam
Register and sit for the Common Admission Test (CAT) — conducted annually in November by the IIMs on a rotational basis.
Shortlisting
IIM-A shortlists candidates based on composite score: CAT percentile (overall and sectional), past academics (10th, 12th, graduation), work experience, and diversity factors.
AWT-PI (Written Ability Test + Personal Interview)
Shortlisted candidates appear for a 30-minute Written Ability Test on a contemporary topic, followed by a 20–30 minute Personal Interview.
Final Merit List & Offer
